Biography
Wolfgang Haase was an East German sailor who partnered Wolfgang Wenzel at the 1980 Tallinn Olympic sailing events in the Flying Dutchman class, finishing an unfortunate fourth. The pair won the East German nationals in 1974 and 1977. Haase later partnered non-Olympian Wolfgang Gutacker, and won the nationals again from 1980-82. Haase owned a sailmaker company.
