Henry Sutton was the fourth son of Sir Richard Sutton, Bt., who challenged for the America’s Cup in 1885. He was educated at Radley and, like his father, was a member of the Royal Yacht Squadron and served as Commodore of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club. At the 1908 Olympics, Henry sailed aboard Cobweb, which was owned by his brother-in-law Blair Cochrane.
