Rolf Zachariassen was a Finnish sailor who competed in the Star class and won three national titles in the event (1959, 1960, 1971). Zachariassen and Freddy Ehrström represented Finland at the 1960 Roma Olympics where the pair came 14th. They were in fifth place after the first race of seven, but then suffered a string of poor results to push them down the standings. Zachariassen later worked as the competition manager of the International Sailing Federation.
