Biography

Christine Hunt competed in the javelin throw for Australia at the 1976 Olympic Games but did not qualify for the final. Hunt was Australian javelin champion in 1975 and 1976 and was once runner-up. She was also twice Australian junior champion. Hunt won a bronze medal at the 1969 Pacific Conference Games in Tokyo.

Hunt competed in college in the United States at the University of Florida, and later settled in Florida after the Montréal Olympics, where she became a real estate agent. She was a member of the Leadership Lakeland Class and active in the Chamber of Commerce Program.
