Belgian track and field athlete Armand Lepaffe represented AS Herstal where he specialised in the hurdles. Lepaffe won three back-to-back national championships in the 110 metres hurdles from 1927 to 1929. He ran in the same event at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics but was eliminated in the heats.
