Biography

Jack Hutchins had the following podium finishes at major championships: 2nd in the 1950 British Empire Games 880 yards. In the 1950 British Empire Games 4×440 yards Relay (with Comer “Bill” Parnell, Don Pettie, and Bill Larochelle) Hutchins finished fifth and in the 1950 British Empire Games 1 mile he finished eighth. In the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games 880 yards he was eliminated in the heats.

Personal Bests: 400 – 48.9y (1950); 800 – 1:50.6 (1952); 1500 – 3:54.4 (1948).
