Biography

During the 1930s Danish middle-distance runner Børge Larsen represented IF Sparta in København. Larsen won his first medal at the national championships with silver in the 1,500 metres in 1933. He won silver again in 1935, before becoming the Danish champion in the event in 1937, followed by another silver medal in 1938. Larsen ran in the 1,500 metres at the 1936 Berlin Olympics but did not advance from the heats.

Personal Best: 1500 – 3:58.8 (1937).
