Biography

Danish sprinter Marinus Sørensen represented KIF Atletik in København in the 1920s. Sørensen was part of the Danish quartet that finished fifth in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics. He also ran in the 100 metres in Antwerpen where he reached the quarter-finals. After the Olympics Sørensen won bronze in the 100 and 200 metres at the 1921 Danish athletics championships, with him going on to win silvers in both races a year later. He finally won a gold medal at the national championships with victory in the 100 metres in 1923.

Personal Best: 100 – 10.8 (1922).
