Ossian Nylund was a Finnish track and field athlete who represented HIFK in Helsinki. At the Finnish athletics championships Nylund won the triple jump title in 1917 and 1918. Two years later he competed at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics where he finished in seventh place in the triple jump and 12th in the pentathlon. Nylund was only 45-years-old when he died in Helsinki in December 1939.
