Biography

André Tison competed for TC Sceaux (up to 1895), Racing CF (1897-1912), and Paris UC (from 1913 onwards). He was French champion in shot put (1905, 1907, 1908, 1910, 1911, 1913, and 1914) and discus throw (1907-1914 and 1920) and finished second in shot put (1909, 1912, 1919, and 1920) and javelin throw (1913) and third in discus throw (1919). Tison set French records in shot put (1905 with 12.46 m, 1907 with 12.75 m, 1908 with 12.81 m, and 1909 with 13.145 m) and discus throw (1908 with 39.13 m, 1909 with 41.25 m, and 1913 with 41.58 m).

Personal Bests: SP – 13.495 (1910); DT – 41.90 (1909).
