Biography

Aleksandr Petrov was one of the early stars of Soviet basketball. He won silver medals in the 1960 and 1964 Olympics and also helped the Soviet national team to win European championships in 1959, 1961, 1963, 1965, and 1967 and a world championship in 1967.
