Biography

Jack Ragland played for the Wichita University basketball team until 1934, along with his future Olympic teammate, Frank Johnson. He later went on to play four years in the AAU leagues, at first with the Globe Refiners, with whom he made the 1936 Olympic team, and later with the Phillips 66ers. He started his business career with Phillips but later moved on into his business, working as a land agent.
