Biography

John Murray was Irish champion at 120y hurdles (1904), discus (1909), and the hammer (1909). After retiring from competition, he was the landlord of a popular Dublin public house for many years. His brothers, Denis and William, also competed in the 1908 Olympics.

Personal Bests: DT – 36.78 (120-8) (1909); HT – 44.12 (144-9) (1907).
