Biography
East German long jumper Fritz Köppen did not qualify for the final at the 1960 Roma Olympic Games. The versatile track and field athlete was East German Champion in the long jump in 1959 and the decathlon in 1957. Köppen studied to be a mechanic tool engineer.
Personal Best: LJ – 7.69 (1960).
