Biography

Charlotte Mäder came in ninth at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympic Games, placing last of the three German athletes in the women’s discus. She was also active in shot put and javelin throw in that era. Between 1926-30 Mäder was ranked in the world top 10 in the discus. She was runner-up at the German nationals in 1923, 1924, 1926 and 1927, and in 1925 was also runner-up with the javelin.

Personal Best: DT – 37.65 (1930).
