Biography

Paul Angenvoorth finfished 16th at the 1972 marathon race in Munich, and was the 1976 West German champion in the marathon, and placed third in 1968 and 1977. In 1973 he also was runner-up over 10K. In 1971, 1975 and 1977 he succeeded in winning the Route du Vin (a half marathon in Luxembourg). He later married the marathoner and cross-country runner Manuela Preuß. Angenvoorth’s profession was as a trading employee.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-15:42 (1977).
