Biography

High jumper Walter Boller, who was trained as an engineering draftsman, took part in the 1974 European Championships, but did not get out of qualifying. He placed fourth in the 1973 European Cup and eighth in the 1974 European Indoor Championships, winning a bronze two years later. Boller also was German Champion in 1974-76 both indoor and outdoor. At the 1976 Montréal Olympics he failed in the qualification round. He married Anne Kroniger in 1977, but they later divorced.

Personal Best: HJ – 2.21 (1976).
