Biography

Heinrich Burkowitz was runner-up in the German Championships in the 400 metres in 1911 and 1913. At the 1912 Olympics he was eliminated in the heats over 400 metres and in the 4 x 400 metres relay. He died in a hospital during World War I from his war wounds.

Personal Best: 400 – 50.0 (1914).
