Biography

The 400 metre runner Ralph Pfersich was eliminated in the heats of the 4x400 relay at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. One year later he participated in the European Cup with the relay and in the 400. He was educated as a tool maker and mechanical engineer, but then studied forestry. In 1999 he wrote the book Block House Construction - Step by Step in Words and Pictures which has been sold worldwide. Pfersich then founded a company constructing wooden block houses.
