Biography

Sprinter Egon Schein was 1934 European Champion with the 4x100 metres relay with Erwin Gillmeister, Gerd Hornberger, and Erich Borchmeyer. He also finished fifth in the 200 metres. At the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games Schein reached the second round of the 200 metres. In 1934 and 1936 he was German Champion in the 200, and in 1931 and 1933-34 with the 4x400 relay.

Personal Best: 200 – 21.4 (1933).
