Biography

Long-distance runner Edmund Stadler failed to reach the final in the 5K at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The only other known results by him were the German 1,500 metre Championships: 1934 (third), 1935 (fourth), 1937 (second), and 1939 (eighth), and in 1938 was part of the 4x1,500 relay that set a new German record. No more results from Stadler could be identified.

Personal Best: 5000 – 15:17.0 (1936).
