Biography

Milena Greppi participated in the 1952 and 1956 Olympic Games in both the 80 metre hurdles and the 4×100 relay. Her best finish was fifth in the relay at Melbourne. In between her two Olympic appearances, she won a bronze medal with the Italian 4x100 relay squad at the 1954 European Championships in Bern. On their way to winning the medal behind the Soviet Union and West Germany, Greppi, Maria Musso, Giuseppina Leone and Letizia Bertoni set a new national record 46.6. Between 1951-58 Greppi made 23 Italian appearances. She won five consecutive national 80 m hurdles titles (1952-56) and also won the 4×100 relay title in 1953 and 1954.

Personal Bests: 100 – 12.1 (1953); 80H – 11.2 (1958).
