Biography

Franco Reiser was an Italian sprinter who won Italian national titles in the 100 and 200 metres in 1927. He competed at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics in the 100 metres and 4x100 relay. From 1933-36 he was the first secretary of the Directory of the Federal Officers Committee of the Italian Athletics Federation (C.U.F.), a group established in 1931 by the federal president Luigi Ridolfi, with the aim of regulating and improving the functioning of juries during athletics competitions.
