Biography

Jeff Turner played college ball at Vanderbilt University. He was drafted in the first round of the 1984 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets. Turner played for the Nets from 1984-87, but also played in Italy with Arexons and Vismara Cantù in 1986-89. He returned to the NBA and played for the Orlando Magic from 1989-96. Turner was a 6-9 (2.06) forward who averaged 6.0 points/game and 3.3 rebounds/game during his NBA career. He later served as the head boys’ basketball coach at Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando, Florida.
