Biography

Guus Zeegers was a Dutch track and field athlete who represented AVAC in Amsterdam. Zeegers specialised as a middle-distance runner and was selected to compete at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics. He ran in both the 800 and 1,500 metres but did not advance from the heats in either. His brother Jan was also a noted middle-distance runner and multiple-time national champion.
