Biography

Zenon Ważny was a Polish pole vaulter who competed at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics, finishing sixth in Melbourne. He also competed at two European Championships, finishing 5th in 1956, and 11th in 1954. Ważny set three Polish records in the vault, with 4.46 and 4.47 in 1956 and 4.53 in 1958.

Personal Best: PV – 4.53 (1958).
