Biography

Hans Niggl was a Swiss doctor and athlete who competed as a sprinter. Niggl ran in the 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics where the Swiss team finished in fifth place. He also ran in the 200 metres at the Amsterdam Games but did not advance from his heat. Niggl was only 34-years-old when he died in 1943 from pneumonia.
