Biography

Marjorie Lamey competed for the Queens Mercurettes and attended Queens College. A discus and javelin thrower, she competed at both the 1955 and 1959 Pan American Games, finishing fourth in javelin throw and sixth in discus throw in 1955 and winning a bronze in the discus and a silver in the javelin in 1959. Lamey was AAU Champion with the discus in 1954 and with the javelin in 1957-60, as well as winning the 1952 AAU and Olympic Trials with the javelin.

Personal Bests: DT – 136-8 [41.65] (1958); JT – 159-2 [48.51] (1958).
