Biography

Charles Hunter was named to the 1920 Olympic Team in the 5K, although he did not place in the top six at the Olympic Trials. Hunter, a California native, ran for the Olympic Club of San Francisco. At the time of the 1920 Olympics he worked as a shirt cutter, but Hunter later became a trainer at the Olympic Club.

Errata

Date of birth previously listed as 21 February 1885. At the passport application to go to the 1920 Olympics, he states that he was born 3 May 1896, but all the other sources indicate that he was actually born 3 May 1892.
