Biography

Austrian wrestler, shot putter, and stone thrower Leopold Lahner qualified for the 1906 Olympics when he won the shot put (10.8 m), and the stone throw (13.35 m) at the Austrian selection competition held in WAC Field Vienna (Wien) on 8 April 1906. He then participated in shot and stone throw at the 1906 Intercalated Athens Games with unknown results. He was also a member of the Austrian tug-of-war team that finished fourth and last after defeats by Germany (2-0) and Sweden (2-0).
