Biography

Beverly Anderson was from Mullan, Idaho and was US giant slalom and downhill champion in 1959. In 1960 she won titles in the North American championships and at the Snow Belt Silver Cup. She attended the University of Washington, where she was an honor student. She later married and became Mrs. Brockway, raising two children. Anderson-Brockway earned a master’s degree in remedial reading and taught school at the Huff School in Mountain View, California, but later went into real estate and ran her own business.
