Biography

East German speed skater Inge Görmer from East Berlin competed at the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Olympics. She finished 16th in the 1,500 metres and 13th in the 3,000 metres. In 1953 and 1958 she was second at the East German All-Around Championships. From 1956-59 she was a member of the East German team at the World All-Arounds.

Personal Bests: 500 – 49.7 (1959); 1000 – 1:39.6 (1960); 1500 – 2:36.5 (1960); 3000 – 5:31.6 (1960).
