Biography

Austrian figure skater Diana Hinko partnered Heinz Döpfl at the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Olympics. Both finished eighth in the pairs event. They also took part in the 1959 and 1960 World Championships, finishing seventh and eighth respectively. From 1957-61 they also participated in the European Championships and finished fifth in 1961 as their best result. Between 1959-61 Hinko and Döpfl won three national titles, and in 1962 Hinko won a fourth title partnering non-Olympian Bernd Henhappel.
