Austrian alpine skier Trude Klecker participated in the 1952 Oslo and 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics. She finished 24th in the downhill and unfortunate fourth in the giant slalom in 1952. Four years later she came 12th in the downhill and 33rd in the giant slalom.

Klecker was more successful at the Austrian nationals, winning all four events (slalom, giant slalom, downhill and combination) in 1953 and being named Sportswoman of the Year. In 1954 and 1956 she added two more titles in giant slalom and in 1956 also won the combination title.

Klecker participated in three World Championships (1952, 1954 and 1956), winning the gold medal in slalom and silver medal in downhill in 1954.
