Biography

Suna Murray competed in singles, representing the Skating Club of New York. She was sixth at the US Championships in 1970, but moved up to the podium with third-place finishes in 1971 and 1972. Murray also placed third at the 1971 North Americans.

At the World Championships she placed 10th in 1971 and 8th in 1972. Murray graduated from Harvard, and later became a coach at the Skating Club of Boston. Her two daughters became excellent skaters. Kylie Gleason was Eastern US Champion in 2007, while Hadley Gleason played ice and field hockey at Trinity College.
