Biography

Iris Schulze was born in Bautzen, East Germany, but fled with her parents to West Germany when she was a child. Representing West Germany at the 1976 Innsbruck Winter Olympics, she finished 33rd in the 5 km, and 31st in 10 km cross-country races. She later became a principal at a primary school in Usseln.
