After playing a couple of seasons with CCA București, ice hockey player Anton Biro became a mainstay at Steaua București where he won multiple national titles during the 1960s. Alongside his domestic career Biro also represented the Romanian national team where he played at several editions of the World Championships. He was selected to compete at the 1964 Innsbruck Olympics where he played in eight matches and scored four goals.
