Biography

Jere Elliott was a native of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where he was the starting quarterback on the high school football for three seasons. He later attended the University of Colorado, where he was coached by Bob Beattie in skiing. After a solid 1966 season, Elliott was out the entire 1966-67 with an injury, but returned to make the 1968 Winter Olympic team.
