Biography

Albin Felc was one of the best players ever to compete in the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League. Felc made his début with HK Jesenice, going on to play in 504 league games and scoring 728 points. In the 1970s he also played for EHC Olten in Switzerland, along with spells with HC Ortisei and AS Asiago in Italy. He was just as prolific in his international career, making 155 appearances for Yugoslavia from 1961 to 1979 and scoring 173 points. During this time he competed at the Olympics in Innsbruck (1964), Grenoble (1968), and Sapporo (1972). Following his playing career Felc coached domestic teams along with the Yugoslav under-18 national team. His daughter, Sabina, played for the Slovenia national basketball team.
