Biography

Gerry Gravelle was a Canadian ski jumper who was a pioneer of the sport. Gravelle competed in the ski jump at the 1960 Squaw Valley Olympics. He finished in equal 34th place alongside Willi Egger of Austria. Gravelle was part of the Canadian team for seven years. In an era of little no protection, Gravelle only had one major accident in his career when he fractured his ribs at the 1962 World Championships.
