Biography

Sepp Heckelmiller was an Alpine skier from Hindelang who participated in the giant slalom events at both the 1968 Grenoble and the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympic Games. In 1968 he placed 24th, and in 1972 he did not finish the competition. At the World Championships Heckelmiller finished 11th both in 1970 and 1974. In 1974 he was West German giant slalom champion. After his active career he managed the ski school in Oberjoch and owned a hotel.
