Biography

Leif Henriksson was a forward for the Swedish ice hockey team that competed at the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics, where it finished fourth. He was nicknamed Blixten (Lightning) because of his skating speed. Henriksson also competed at the World Championships in 1967 and 1969. He played club hockey in Sweden from 1961-77, mostly with Vastra Frolunda IF in Göteborg. Early in his career he was with Bofors IFK in 1961-63, and then KB-63 Karlskoga in 1963/64.
