Biography

Berni Huber was a German Alpine speed skier who finished 19th in the downhill event and 31st in the super G event at the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics. He won a bronze medal in the Alpine combination at the 1985 Youth World Championships. Huber never won an Alpine Skiing World Cup race but, in 1995, was German national downhill champion, and the following year was the national super G champion.

Huber turned to coaching until 2003, and most recently was the European head coach for male skiers in the German Ski Association. He then became the managing director of the Grasgehren ski area. In 2019 he returned to the German Ski Association as a senior student coach.
