Biography

Werner Huth belonged to the four-man Germany II team, which was built by entirely inexperienced Germans living in the US. Nevertheless the team claimed seventh place at the 1932 Lake Placid Olympics, and Huth was only the substitute. Huth was also seventh in the two-man event with Max Ludwig. The two men had won the German title a year earlier.

Also in 1931, Huth was the German road champion for solo motorcycles on a 500 cc NSU 500. In 1927 he finished second at the European Championships in the 1,000 cc class. By profession, he was an expert reviewer.
