Biography
Alexandru Ionescu was a Romanian bobsledder. Ionescu competed in the four-man bobsleigh at the 1932 Lake Placid Olympics. The Romania team finished in sixth place. Four years later Ionescu competed in the same event at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics. However, the team did not finish their fourth and final run.
