Biography

Ice hockey forward Marcus Kuhl earned 160 international caps and was inducted into the German Ice Hockey Hall of Fame. He played at the 1980 Lake Placid and the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Games with West Germany and also at seven World Championships, scoring 45 goals.

Nationally, he played with Mannheimer ERC (until 1974, from 1979-82 and 1986-91) and Kölner Haie (1974-79 and 1983-85), helping Mannheim win the West German Championship in 1980 and Köln in 1983-85. In 1994, he retired and became manager of Mannheimer ERC, later renamed Mannheimer Adler, winning five more championships.
