Biography

Hans Lahr was a Czechoslovak skier and ski jumper. Lahr competed in two events at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Olympics. Lahr finished in ninth place in the Nordic combined. Lahr also competed in the ski jump where he finished in 32nd place.

Lahr was an ethnic German and fought for the Wehrmacht following the Nazi invasion of Czechoslovakia at the start of World War II. Lahr was killed in action in February 1942 while fighting on the Eastern Front.
