Biography

Erik Larsson played his entire career from 1923-33 with Hammarby IF. With them he won Swedish titles in 1932 and 1933 and was the leading goal scorer at the 1930 Swedish Championships. Internationally, Larsson played with the Swedish national team at the 1928 Winter Olympics and at the 1932 European Championships. He won Olympic silver in 1928, which also doubled as a World Championships silver and European Championships gold that year, later winning the 1932 European title. Because of his accomplishments, Larsson was awarded the Stora Grabbars Märke (Big Boys’ Badge) #11 in ice hockey, a Swedish sports honorary award created in 1928 by Bo Ekelund.
