Biography

French skier and biathlete Serge Legrand represented US Lamoura and became the French junior champion in the 7.5km biathlon in 1957. Throughout the 1960s Legrand won multiple medals in relay events, which earned him a place on the French Olympic team for the 1968 Grenoble Games. In the 4 × 7.5 kilometres relay in Grenoble he skied the second leg of the race where the French team finished tenth.
