Biography

Finnish ice hockey forward Henry Leppä began his career with TuTo Turku in the 1962–63, staying with the club until joining Jokerit in 1969–70. With his new team Leppä won the Finnish championship one year later, and he remained a mainstay in the team until his retirement in 1981. His domestic career saw him play in 441 league games and score 395 points. Leppä also earned 117 caps with the Finnish national team, which saw him play in multiple editions of the World Championships and the 1976 Innsbruck Olympics. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1996.
